Meet the R & I Automotive Team



Ray - Owner:  Ray's love for cars began as a teenager. He decided then to pursue professional training and education in Automotive Technology. Since then, he has owned and managed several shops throughout the San Francisco Bay Area over the past 20 years. Ray opened R & I Automotive in San Rafael in 2006, which has continued to grow as a successful family-owned business. He is dedicated to his customers, and values offering his community high-quality services with integrity and personal attention.

 

Jason - Service Maintenance Technician:  Jason has been a wonderful addition to the R & I Automotive team.  He initially became interested in working on cars while taking auto shop in high school. After graduation, he started working in a local repair shop to train and gain skills to become a qualified mechanic.  He has been working in the field for over 10 years now, continues to develop his professional expertise, and was thrilled to join a professional and knowledgeable shop as R & I Automotive. The entire staff is equally pleased to have him!

 

Jay - Service Maintenance Technician:  Jay grew up in Novato and has been working at R & I Automotive ever since it opened in 2006. Jay took auto shop for three years at San Marin High School and decided to make it his career. In 1997, he received an associate degree in automotive & diesel technology at Universal Technical Institute in Arizona.  He is also an ASE master certified technician and has taken various classes at the College of Marin including hybrid maintenance. He has been an asset to the shop and is a valued technician to his team and customers.

 

Marty - Service Manager:  Marty is the newest addition to our R & I Automotive family, and has a long history of providing superb customer-focused service and support. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, and effective at taking great care of our valued customers, and we are thankful to have him with us!

 

Adrienne - Office Manager:  Adrienne has lived in San Rafael since 1979, and has been with R & I Automotive since the very start. She manages all of the bookkeeping services, assists the service manager in writing repair orders, schedules customer appointments, and keeps the shop running smoothly and efficiently.
